Setting Up Outlook 97

Follow the directions listed below to configure Microsoft Outlook 97.

Once you have Outlook 97 open, click on Tools, and select Services.

In the Services window, click Internet E-mail to highlight it. Then click the Properties button.

General: Type a name for the Mail Account, your name in the Name field, and your e-mail address in the E-mail field.

Servers: Type the Incoming and Outgoing mail server settings in their respective fields. Enter your username in the Account name field. Then enter your password. Click "My server requires authentication", then click the Apply button. Then click OK.
